Myself and my wife enjoyed Japan tour a lot. Great culture helpful people and yes Our guide(now he is our friend) Mr. Goro. He showed us Tokyo not like a guide but as helpful localite with a personal touch. We enjoyed his company. He guided us to the complex railway system in Tokyo and also took us to the important locations. His tips on local shopping were of great help.
