i was sponsored to go to Recife to attend a Symposium on Education and Environment where 25 different countries attended. Recife is at the eastern-most part of Brazil.
the event is held in the capital of Pernumbuco. the first Hotel i stayed was Maranta which is beside the Pacific Ocean. the second Hotel was Atlanta, which is beside Atlantic Ocean. yes both locations are nearby, so it's the meeting point of both great Oceans!
if you're in Brazil, you must attend their street festivals, very lively and percussion filled! you must also sample their Caipirinha, a slight alcoholic drink concocted with fragrant leafs and vodka, it's amazingly refreshing!

No I havent been to Malaysia or singapore yet.... The only places I have been are tahiti, rarotonga, australia. But I am looking to travel next year to Europe. When i decide to go to singapore/malaysia i will let you know LOL.
