My name is David Zhang, my personal homepage is www.tourguide.name, and I write travel guidebooks for BeijingSights. I started Beijing Private Tours to provide intimate private tours of Beijing for travelers who demand more than an impersonal bus tour. We specialize in small, intelligent custom private tours of Beijing for educated travelers who want real insights into the people, the history, and the culture of the city, along with the freshest and most authentic food the city has to offer.

I’ve assembled a small group of professional guides in Beijing with extensive experience guiding elite travelers around the city. They all speak fluent English and Chinese and are a storehouse of interesting information about Beijing and Chinese culture.
