Hi Naoko Thank you very much for your comment! The link you sent me is very helpfull! Actually, I have been to Japan in 1987 and 1989. I have travelled around and had some homestays and I even was in Kyushu, in Kagoshima and visited mount Aso. I was very impressed the first time and think, it is really worth going to Kaogshima and visiting Mt. Aso. But we will stay four weeks in Japan. My wife has never been to Japan. So of course we will stay a week in in Tokyo and one in Kyoto/Nara and for sure will spend one or two days in Osaka. I am also thinking of spending some days on Shikoku and walking on the pilgrims trails. But I am not sure about that yet. There are so many things to see... And with a one-year-old boy it's probably better not to change places every day... We try to make a house exchange for Kanto and/or Kansai. (we have a large appartment in Zürich and can offer a house up in the alps near St. Moritz). Since I speak some Japanese we even think of a homestay, but I am not sure, if it is possible to find a host for a couple and a baby :-). Anyway, I am refreshing my Japanese at the moment in order to not get lost ;-). As soon as I know more precisely, when we will stay in the Kansai-Area, I would like to contact you again. Kind Regards! Steven
